July 2010 events

Swinging Sixties at Pendennis Castle July 3rd - 7th.  Now there's a great trip down memory lane for a day out.

Stithians Agricultural Show July 12th.

RNAS Culdrose Air Day July 28th Fantastic day out at one of Cornwall's Big Days Out.

August 2010 events

Henri-Lloyd Falmouth Week (incorporating Falmouth Classics): 7th – 14th August 2010.  Racing for all types of craft from the small dinghy to the high-performance racing machine, supported by a full daytime and evening social programme, including a firework spectacular.  For further information visit www.falmouthweek.co.uk

West of England Steam Rally, Stithians August 20th - 22nd.  Unmissable day out for any steam engine enthusiast!

September 2010 events

Cornwall Food and Drink Festival 24th – 26th September. A delicious festival held in Truro celebrating the best of Cornish food, with a local produce market and cookery demonstrations from top Cornish chefs. For further information please visit www.truro.gov.uk.

October 2010 events

Falmouth Oyster Festival: 14th – 17th October. Timed to coincide with the start of the oyster harvesting season, this annual festival celebrates one of the last remaining oyster fisheries to dredge under sail and oar. For further information visit www.falmouthoysterfestival.co.uk

Roseland Festival 20th - 30th October. An array of events covering music, literature and drama ongoing in various venues on The Roseland.

Haunted Tours 25th - 31st October.  Pendennis Castle.

HELSTON AIR DAY

Make a date for the 28th July and RNAS Culdrose Air Day.  A fantastic day out and an opportunity to pay respects to the flying heroes who show such skill and bravery.

HAUNTED CASTLE

Come Hallowe'en time the place to be is Pendennis Castle where, between October 28th - 31st grown ups can test their bravado and daring with an evening Haunted Tour of Pendennis Castle, including access to normally forbidden areas!  It promises to be an experience never to be forgotten!  Tours for over 16's only.

October 25th - 31st will feature Haunted Tours during daytime hours, suitable for family days out.
