Whether you're here for a short break in Cornwall or a longer family holiday, there is something for everyone in the family.

There are activities to suit salty seadogs or land lubbers, plenty of excellent beaches (the closest is right opposite the hotel!) plus lots of attractions - both local or within easy driving distance.

The National Maritime Museum, situated on Events Square and about 10 minute's walk from the hotel, holds regular activities and has fascinating exibits relating to Cornwall's maritime history.  Other attractions that are perfect for a family day out include Gweek Seal Sanctuary and Trebah Gardens.  There are boat trips galore along the coast and Orca Sea Safaris organise wildlife watching trips - look out for dolphins!

Slightly further afield are the famous Eden Project, Land's End attractions and numerous National Trust properties.
