If you and your partner live in different Registration Districts, two notices of marriage will be required. The ceremony will be organised and conducted by the Superintendent Registrar responsible for the Registration District in which the property is located. That officer will be accompanied by a Registrar of Marriage who completes the official Register and provides the all important Marriage Certificate.
Notice of marriage is £33.50 each. This is to be paid to the Superintendent Registrar of the District where you live.
